Join the movement
Aligned with the Ofsted Inspection Framework’s emphasis on a broad, balanced curriculum and strong development, Social Signature supports schools, youth and community groups in delivering meaningful citizenship learning that prepares young people for life beyond the classroom.
Watch our founder, Dr Pete, explain how you can get involved, connect with other schools, and help your students explore their Social Signature.
Together, we can inspire generosity, innovation, and resilience, building a movement where every child has the chance to make a real impact.
Getting started
We have developed a clear, step-by-step guide to embedding Social Signature in the classroom and community structured around the recognised Discover (assess), Develop (plan), Deliver (do) and Embed (review) stages. This approach helps teachers and enablers to respond to young peoples’ needs, implement purposeful social learning, and reflect on impact over time.
We believe that by developing children’s social awareness, communication skills and self-understanding from an early age, Social Signature helps lay the foundations for positive wellbeing, trusting relationships, active citizenship and future career pathways.

Watch the Social Signature animation. It’s a fun, easy-to-follow way to explain the concept, and you can share it with a class or show it at an assembly to inspire everyone.
-
Bring Social Signature to your school with a whole-school assembly that inspires students to discover their strengths, passions and make a difference. Here are some quick and easy assembly ideas, and with each one, you could begin by asking everyone: ‘How will the world remember you’:
Show the animation: Start the assembly with the Social Signature animation to introduce the concept in a visual and inspiring way. Pause at key moments to ask the audience questions or get their reactions.
Display the Social Signature map: and discuss all the positive makrs people are making.
Highlight real stories: Share short, impactful stories like Charlie, James, Beth or local role models to show how small actions can create big differences. Invite pupils to think about the marks they leave every day.
Interactive reflection: Ask pupils to shout out ways they’ve made a difference in their school, family, or community, connecting personal actions to their Social Signature.
Superpower spotlight: Introduce the four superpowers ME, WE, THEM, US and ask everyone to think of examples of each in their own lives or school community.
Challenge & pledge: End the assembly with a simple call to action: students can make a pledge or goal to use one of their superpowers that week, leaving a mark on someone or something in their school or local area.

Our Social Signature community
Our Community is at the heart of everything we do. Nothing here has been created for people; it’s all been created with them. From ideas to content, everything has been and continues to be co-created by the people who are part of Social Signature. Below, you’ll find real examples of that in action: videos and photos that show the collaboration, creativity, and energy that make our community what it is.
